My name is Meena Serendib and I am a filmmaker, actress, dancer, and spoken word poet. Born in the UK and raised in Northern California, I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. degree from the School of Theatre, Film, and Television and a minor in French Literature. I recently wrote and exec produced my first short film,

CSI: NEW YORK. In addition to acting, I have over 12 years of South Indian dance training, having studied primarily under Smt. Sundara Swaminathan in the Kalakshetra style of Bharatanatyam. Having performed alongside artists such as Christina Aguilera, Karsh Kale, and Cheb i Sabbah, I continue to dance and choreograph as a member of the
TAAL DANCE COLLECTIVE.
